Description
The GKI K-90 is a government approved tape degausser. This unit has an adapter kit designed to handle many different types of magetic media (see pictures), including backup tapes and hard drives. The adapters fit on the spindle hub in the drawer and spin the media under the powerful degausser magnets in the machine. The manual describes the process fully and provides instructions. GKI made many of these and they were originally designed for reel-to-reel tape.
