Product Description

Offering versatility in an economical package, the VeriFone Tranz 330 credit card terminal is a basic, low-cost way for retail merchants to guarantee checks, capture data, and process credit card transactions.  An optional PIN pad allows retailers to accept debit (ATM) cards as well as also being able to accept credit and private-label cards.  Pharmacies, hospitals, individual healthcare providers, and government agencies can utilize the VeriFone Tranz 330 for electronic benefits transfers (EBT).

Updating and creating application programs are simplified by the use of TCL, a point of sale terminal control language.  All fraud and security control features required by bank card environments are included in the Tranz 330.  It supports 3rd party devices like handheld scanners and intelligent bar code wands.  CSA approved.

File transfers and applications downloads are completed quickly.  The Tranz 330 has an easy-to-read display that prompts/walks you through a typical transaction step by step.  Especially designed custom keypad overlays are available for you application needs.

The Verifone Tranz 330 is able to support a printer through the RS-232 serial port for a slip, roll, or sprocket printer. The VeriFone 220, 250, and 900 Printers can all be integrated into the Tranz 330.  A separate communications port is available for connecting a PIN pad or third-party device Modem.
