TESTING
This unit was thoroughly processed for this auction to verify condition. We found the unit to power, initialize and return to a ready condition as shown in the pictures. The scanbar lit and moved to position upon powering. All diagnostics procedures available from the control panel were performed successfully. Fujitsu M3096G Summary

Fujitsu presents an excellent quality, high speed image scanner which can handle up to double-letter size paper: Compact and inexpensive, it is an ideal input device for electronic filing systems, facsimiles, optical character readers (OCR), computer aided design (CAD) systems, and desk-top publishing systems (DTP.

Fast Scanning

At a 200 pixels per inch resolution, the Fujitsu image scanners scan a letter-size (8.5 in. x 11 in. or 216 mm x 279 mm) or A4 (8.3 in. x 11.7 in. or 210 mm x 297 mm) document in 2.2 to 2.3 seconds.

Multiple resolutions

The Fujitsu image scanners offer multiple F IV standard resolutions of 200, 240, 300, and 400 pixels per inch, allowing you to choose the level of quality and speed.

Automatic document feeding

The standard flat bed permits the scanning of a single page (including a page of a book). The M3096G has an automatic document feeder that can accommodate up to 50 pages.

Excellent quality scanning

The Fujitsu image scanners inherit the high quality image scanning technology of Fujitsu's advanced OCRs and produce excellent electronic images from documents. The recognise 256 steps of the grey scale and have two optional boards: A dynamic threshold circuit, which can detect suitable shade variations, and an image processing circuit, which allows zooming, automatic separation between text and photographs, and image emphasis, further improving scanning quality.

Compact, lightweight

The superb capabilities of the Fujitsu image scanners have not been achieved at the expense of compactness. They are enhanced by their small size and light weight.
