DESCRIPTION

The 72071 power supply is designed to provide DC power for the following telecommunications equipment:

• T-SMART and T-SERV CSUs in the 77020 12-port CSU Shelf.

• DataSMART DSU/CSUs and M-PATH CSUs in the 78270 12-port Universal Shelf.

• The 72071 provides 100 watts of DC power with an output voltage in the range of 24 to 48

• VDC, depending on the input voltage and load. For example, the power supply could be used in the following applications:

• To provide power for one fully loaded 78270 12-port Universal shelf.

• To provide power for approximately 3 daisy-chained 12-port shelves fully loaded with T-SMARTs.

• To provide power for approximately 5 daisy-chained 12-port shelves fully loaded with T-Serves.

• To provide redundant power in the above three applications, by adding a second power supply wired in parallel.
