The
Principal
John Myers has over 15 years of experience in the commercial
composting industry. John developed Landscape Supply Services,
div of JD Myers, Inc in 1992 and joined forces with PRS
Materials in marketing compost shortly thereafter. Along
with an equity partner, he established Caribbean Composting
Inc, of Puerto Rico in 1997, developed the company and
operated a large site for the governement of Puerto Rico.
It still operates today. John has extensive experience
in developing compost sites and marketing compost in many
areas of the country (especially in Florida and the US
east coast), including site planning and development,
permitting, O/M development, product marketing, operations
management, and site QC/QA. Having actual experience with
many different compost systems, John is in a unique position
to consult on compost systems, site design and site technical
management.
In
addition to compost programs, John has extensive experience
in storm debris management for disaster recovery as
well as mulching operations and related industries.
Expertise is also offered in Landscape Construction
and Environmental Site Management, Bioremediation, and
environmental contract development / bid management.
